Scope Law acts as Swiss legal advisor to the insolvency administrator of Tennis-Point GmbH (Germany), Dr. Christian Gerloff, on the transfer sale of MRS Tennis AG (Switzerland), which is part of the business operations of the German Tennis-Point GmbH, to a consortium of investors led by the investment company Orlando Capital V and with the participation of the founder and one of the managing directors of Tennis-Point GmbH.


The insolvency proceedings of Tennis-Point GmbH, a tennis equipment supplier belonging to the Signa Sports United Group, were opened on January 1, 2024. The acquisition of the entire business operations of Tennis-Point GmbH, including shares in various sales subsidiaries (such as MRS Tennis AG), represents a good solution for Tennis-Point and its approximately 700 employees worldwide. The parties have agreed not to disclose the economic conditions.
